What does an industrial decarbonization technology consultant actually do?
We review your processes, energy use and emissions data, then identify which technologies could cut carbon at your site. You receive an evidence-based assessment, not a sales pitch. Where a technology is not yet viable for your operation, we say so plainly.
Which sectors do you work with?
We focus on energy-intensive industry: chemicals, cement, steel, glass, food processing and heavy manufacturing. If your site runs furnaces, boilers, kilns or large process loads, our methods apply. Smaller operations can still benefit from a scoping review.
Do you supply equipment or take commissions from vendors?
No. We are independent advisers. We hold no vendor agreements and take no commissions, so our recommendations rest on your technical and commercial case alone. If you later procure equipment, you run that process on your own terms.
How long does a typical project take?
A scoping study usually takes four to six weeks. A full feasibility assessment with modelling and cost analysis runs three to six months, depending on site access and data quality. We agree a schedule with you before work begins.
What information do you need from us to start?
Utility bills, metered energy data, process descriptions and any prior studies are enough to begin. We can work with incomplete data and flag the gaps. A short site visit often speeds up the early stages considerably.
How do you handle confidentiality?
We sign your non-disclosure agreement before receiving sensitive data, or provide our own if you prefer. Reports are shared only with the people you name. Project files are stored securely and returned or deleted at the end of the engagement.
